We've been gettings ourselves anxiously engaged in good causes this month! Joseph finished his flag football season this month but continues to play softball with some friends from work. Their team is doing well! We think they might make a run for the championship this season.
We painted our kitchen blue!
We spent an evening as a family at a work Crawfish Broil. It was our first one ever. Michelle still claims they look like swimming cockroaches, but they did taste good (although ridiculously spicy). It was fun to get to know people from work and to put faces to their names. Daniel had a blast running back and forth between bounce houses the whole night.
Michelle has been keeping busy reading a bunch of books, working on her quilt, and being an active participant in relief society.
We've been put in charge of the ward roadshow again this year which is in April. It has been like a sprint to get everything ready in just a couple weeks. But we're excited as the youth are taking ownership of it.
We took a trip up to Austin for Good Friday weekend. We enjoyed spending time with John and Arien playing Farkle all night. We are very grateful to them for watching the boys so we could do a session at the temple together. It had been too long! We had fun on a double date with Emily and Lars going mini-golfing and hearing their engagement news. We are so happy for them!! Easter Sunday was lovely as we were able to go to church with everyone and enjoy a good meal before heading home again.
Dan is loving being a big brother. His favorite things to do now are to play golf, be silly, play in Daddy's truck, in the backyard by himself, and to watch Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (Joseph's favorite childhood movie).
Jason had his 2 month checkup and is looking good. He learned to smile this month and enjoys showing it off for Daddy.
We love you all
Joseph, Michelle, Dan Dan, and Jace
